 A. Safety Precautions
 (1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU: - put a warning notice to tell persons not to start the engine 2.
 (2) Make sure that the engine 2 shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
 (3) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU: - make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR 2 pushbutton switch is off.
 (4) Put a warning notice to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 2.

 B. Get Access
 (1) Open the fan-cowl doors: FOR 1000EM2 - 447AL, 448AR (Ref. TASK 71-13-00-010-040).
 (2) Put the access platform in position at the engine.

Maximum depth cannot be more than 0.0035 in. (0.0889 mm) deep (not more than 10 percent of the wall thickness).
Damage is permitted if the threads that are good are not reduced by more than one thread.
Damage is permitted if the damaged end-fittings can keep the correct torque value.
If the damage is more than the allowable limits, replace the hose-tube assembly (Ref. TASK 29-13-49-000-001) and (Ref. TASK 29-13-49-400-001).
If the damage is more than the allowable limits, replace the hose-tube assembly (Ref. TASK 29-13-49-000-001) and (Ref. TASK 29-13-49-400-001).
If the end-fittings cannot keep the correct torque value, replace the hose-tube assembly (Ref. TASK 29-13-49-000-001) and (Ref. TASK 29-13-49-400-001).
R 2. Examine the Hydraulic Pressure Hose-Tube Assembly, look for:

R  A. Broken wire  Maximum of three broken  If the damage is more than 
R  braids.  wires per plait.  the allowable limits, 
R  No more than six broken  replace the hose-tube 
R  wires in an assembly.  assembly (Ref. TASK 29-13-
R  No more than six broken  49-000-002) and (Ref. TASK
