R R (15) Torque the coupling nut of the adapter (70) to the union (15) to between 800 and 900 lbf.in (9.04 and 10.17 m.daN).
R R NOTE : Use a second wrench to hold the union (15) when you torque the____ adapter (70) coupling nut.
R R (16) Connect the pressure hose (5) to the reducer (65) in the pump (35) pressure port.
R R (17) TORQUE the pressure hose (5) coupling nut to between 900 and 1000 lbf.in (10.17 and 11.30 m.daN).
R R NOTE : Use a second wrench to hold the reducer (65) when you torque____ the pressure hose (5) coupling nut.
R (18) Remove the protective cover from the electrical connector (3030GD-A).
R (19) Connect the electrical connector (3030GD-A) to the pump (35). Tighten the connector with your hand.
R (20) Remove the container.

(1) Do the EIS start procedure (Upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU only) (Ref. TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
(2) On the ECAM control panel, push the HYD key: - on the SD, the HYD page comes into view.
(3) On the panel 20VU: - lift the guard and release the ENG1/FIRE, ENG2/FIRE pushbutton switches.

On the SD:
-make sure that the fire shut-off valves are closed.

Disconnect the hose of the Yellow engine pump case drain filter (3084GM) and put the open end in a clean container.
(6)
Pressurize the related hydraulic reservoir (Ref. TASK 29-14-00-614-002).
(7)
Lift the guard and push the fire handle (the fire valves open) until hydraulic fluid without air flows out from the hose into the container. Pull the fire handle (the fire valves close) when bleeding is completed.
NOTE : If necessary, do the steps 4.D.(3), 4.D.(4) and 4.D.(6) again
____ or continuously pressurize the related reservoir.

Connect the hose to the filter and tighten it.
(9)
TORQUE the hose of the filter to between 2.42 and 2.76 m.daN (17.84 and 20.35 lbf.ft).

G. Operational Test
(1)
Pressurize the Yellow hydraulic reservoir (Ref. TASK 29-14-00-614-002).
(2)
Pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system (Ref. TASK 29-23-00-863-002).
(3)
Do an operational test of the Yellow hydraulic system (Ref. TASK 29-13-00-710-002).
NOTE : Only make sure that the Yellow hydraulic pressure increases.
____ It is not necessary to do the check of the alarm thresholds of the low pressure switch of the Yellow engine pump.
(4)
During the dry motoring, make sure that there are no leaks from:
-
the hydraulic connections of the pump,
-
the Yellow engine pump case drain filter,
-
the interface between the pump and the accessory gearbox.
(5)
Make sure that the clogging indicator of the Yellow engine pump case drain filter is not extended.
(6)
Make sure that the clogging indicator of the Yellow HP filter is not extended.
(7)
Make sure that the level of fluid in the Yellow hydraulic reservoir is correct. If necessary, fill the reservoir (Ref. TASK 12-12-29-611-001).
