Procedure

(1)
Remove the caps from the adapter flange ports.

Install the hydraulic shutoff valve (8):
(a)
Lubricate the new packings (10) with hydraulic fluid.
(b)
Install the packings (10) in the grooves in the inlet and outlet surfaces of the hydraulic shutoff valve (8).
(c)
Lubricate the adapter flanges (14) and the mating surfaces of the hydraulic shutoff valve (8) with hydraulic fluid.
(d)
Put the hydraulic shutoff valve (8) between the adapter flanges (13).
(e)
Install the bolts (9), the washers (11), and the nuts (12). 1) Tighten the bolts.
(f)
Connect the electrical connector (13). 1) Tighten the connector with your fingers plus 1/8 of a turn.

2) Install a lockwire on the connector.

Install the three piece clamp block assembly:
(a)
Install the block halves (6 and 7).
(b)
Install the spacers (5).
(c)
Install the cap angle (3) and the block half (4).
(d)
Install the bolts (1) and the washers (2). 1) Tighten the bolts.

Close the applicable EDP HYD SUPPLY circuit breaker:
(a)
P7 Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel 1) 7J4 EDP SUPPLY 1 2) 7J5 EDP SUPPLY 2 3) 7J6 EDP SUPPLY 3 4) 7J7 EDP SUPPLY 4
(5) S 614-022Do this task: "Hydraulic Reservoir Servicing" (AMM 12-12-01/301).
(6) S 864-023Do this task: "Pneumatic System Pressurization" (AMM 36-00-00/201). (a) Make sure the reservoir stays pressurized during the leak test.
(7) S 714-024Do this task: "Hydraulic Supply Shutoff Valve Operational Test" (AMM 29-11-04/501).

CAUTION: IMMEDIATELY CLEAN ALL HYDRAULIC FLUID THAT FALLS ON THE
_______ AIRPLANE PARTS. HYDRAULIC FLUID CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE AIRPLANE STRUCTURE.

Examine the installation of the hydraulic shutoff valve (8) for leakage.

If you find leakage, repair the cause of it.

Examine the connection of the EDP supply hose for leakage.
(a)
If you find leakage, repair the cause of it.
