(c) Install the packings on the hydraulic sample valve.
(d) Install the hydraulic sample valve in the reservoir port.
1) Make sure the valve outlet points down.
(e) Turn the valve knob clockwise and tighten it with your fingers.
NOTE:____ This closes the hydraulic sample valve.
(f) Install a lockwire between the valve knob, the valve housing,
and the reservoir port.
(g) Install a cap on the valve outlet.

(2) Do this task: "Hydraulic Reservoir Servicing" (AMM 12-12-01/301).

(3) Do this task: "Pneumatic System Pressurization" (AMM 36-00-00/201).

(4) Examine the reservoir sample valve for leakage.
(a) If you find leakage, repair the cause of it.

CAUTION: MAKE SURE YOU LATCH THE FAIRING DOORS ON THE TRAILING EDGE
_______ CORRECTLY. DAMAGE CAN OCCUR IF THE DOORS OPEN DURING A FLIGHT.
(5) Close the fairing doors on the trailing edge of the strut (AMM 54-62-00/201).

RESERVOIR DRAIN VALVE - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. This procedure contains the tasks to remove and install the reservoir drain valve. The installation task also contains a test of the drain valve installation.
B. You can get access to the reservoir drain valve through the fairing doors on the trailing edge of the strut.

Open the fairing doors on the trailing edge of the strut (AMM 54-62-00/201).
(2)
Release the pressure in the hydraulic system (AMM 29-11-00/201).
