 (b)  
Disconnect the pressure tube for the control air that comes from the actuator for the speed control valve.

 (c)  
Remove the gearbox oil breather and the gasket from the governor unit and oil pump drive.

 (d)  
Remove the three mounting bolts and the washers from the mounting flange on the governor unit and oil pump drive.


 CAUTION: BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU REMOVE THE GOVERNOR UNIT AND OIL PUMP
_______ DRIVE. THE QUILL SHAFT AND THE QUILL SPRING CAN FALL INTO THE TURBINE DRIVE GEARBOX. THESE PARTS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE GEARBOX COMPONENTS.
 (e)  
Remove the governor unit and oil pump drive from the turbine drive gearbox.

 (f)  
Remove the quill shaft spring and the quill shaft.

 (3)  
If a new governor unit and oil pump drive is to be installed, remove these parts:

 (a)  
The jam nut, the tee, and the packing from the port on the top of the governor unit 1) Discard the packing.

 (b)  
The elbow from the port on the side of the governor unit. 1) Discard the packing.

 (4)  Install caps on all the tubes and the ports to prevent contamination.
