Supply electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).

 (2)  Make sure that the locks for the landing gear doors and the landing gears are installed (AMM 32-00-30/201).

 (3)  Make sure that the person in the flight compartment can speak with the person on the ground.

 (4)  Open the doors in the trailing edge fairing for engines No. 2 and No. 4 (AMM 54-62-00/201).

 (5)  If a hydraulic service cart is used as the pressure source, connect the hydraulic service cart (AMM 29-11-00/201): (a) Connect the cart to the No. 2 and No. 4 hydraulic systems. (b) Install a flow meter in the pressure line between the cart and the system No. 2 ground-service disconnect on the pressure module.
 (c)  Connect the return line on the hydraulic service cart to the No. 2 and No. 4 return modules.

 (6)  
If the system demand pump is used as a pressure source, release the pressure in hydraulic system No. 2 (AMM 29-11-00/201).

 (a)  
Install a flowmeter in the pressure line of the No. 2 demand pump between the pump and the ground-service disconnect on the pressure module.

 (b)  
Make sure there is a minimum of 5400 pounds (2450 kg) of fuel in the No. 2 main fuel tank and 2000 pounds (900 kg) of fuel in the No. 4 main fuel tank.


 NOTE: The fuel weight values are calculated with a fuel
____ density of 6.7 pounds per gallon.

 WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF THE LE AND TE
_______ FLAPS AND FLAP DRIVE MECHANISMS BEFORE YOU MOVE THE FLAP CONTROL LEVER. WITH HYDRAULIC POWER REMOVED, THE FLAPS WILL MOVE AUTOMATICALLY BY ELECTRICAL POWER WHEN YOU MOVE THE FLAP CONTROL LEVER.
 (7)  
Make sure that the inboard and outboard trailing edge flaps are fully retracted.

 (a)  
If it is necessary, do this task: "Trailing Edge Flaps Retraction with Electrical Power" (AMM 27-51-00/201).
