When the switch for systems No. 2 and No. 3 is put in the AUTO position, the ACMP will operate during the conditions that follow:

The pressure of the EDP output decreases below 1,400 psi for more than 0.3 second. The ACMP will operate for 14 seconds after the EDP output increases above 1,600 psi

The auxiliary pump can only be operated if the airplane is on the ground. When the switch for systems No. 1 or No. 4 is put in the AUX position, the auxiliary pump will operate continuously when the system pressure is below 1,400 psi.

For each hydraulic system the HYDIM card monitors the following:
-
Position of the EDP switch
-
Position of the demand pump switch
-Hydraulic system pressure
-
Position of the hydraulic supply shutoff valve
-
Position of the engine fire handle
-
Position of the fuel cutoff switch
-Hydraulic system temperature. The HYDIM controls the operation of the demand pumps when the switch is in the AUTO position. The HYDIM also does different tests of the status of the system operation. Then it supplies the flight compartment with related EICAS messages and warnings.
