(a)
Remove the four bolts and the washers that attach the reservoir drain valve to the hydraulic reservoir.

Remove the reservoir drain valve.
1) Discard the packing.

Install a cap on the reservoir port to prevent contamination.

Install the reservoir drain valve:
(a)
Remove the cap from the hydraulic reservoir port.
(b)
Lubricate the new packing with hydraulic fluid.

(c) (d) (e) Install the packing in the groove on the flange of the hydraulic drain valve.Install the hydraulic drain valve in the hydraulic reservoir with the four bolts and the washers. 1) Tighten the bolts. 2) Install a lockwire on the bolts.Make sure the drain valve handle is in the closed position. 1) Install a lockwire on the handle.
(2) S 614-015Do this task: "Hydraulic Reservoir Servicing" (AMM 12-12-01/301).
(3) S 864-016Do this task: "Pneumatic System Pressurization" (AMM 36-00-00/201).
(4) S 794-017Examine the reservoir drain valve for leakage. (a) If you find leakage, repair the cause of it.

CAUTION: MAKE SURE YOU LATCH THE FAIRING DOORS ON THE TRAILING EDGE
_______ CORRECTLY. DAMAGE CAN OCCUR IF THE DOORS OPEN DURING A FLIGHT.
(5) Close the fairing doors on the trailing edge of the strut (AMM 54-62-00/201).

HYDRAULIC SUPPLY SHUTOFF VALVE - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. This procedure contains the tasks to remove and install the hydraulic supply shutoff valve. The installation task contains a test of the installation of the hydraulic supply shutoff valve. During this procedure the hydraulic supply shutoff valve is referred to as the hydraulic shutoff valve.
B. The hydraulic shutoff valve is installed in the strut. You can get access to the valve through the pressure relief door on the forward upper midspar.
