Do a check to determine the amount of fuel in the fuel tank.

NOTE: If there is sufficient fuel in the applicable tank, there is
____ no time limit on the operation of the hydraulic pump. If there is less fuel than the quantities below, then the hydraulic pump operation is limited to 30 minutes.
NOTE: The fuel weight values given below are found on a
____ specified fuel density of 6.7 pounds for a gallon (0.802 Kg for a liter).
 (a)
For system No. 1, there must be 2000 pounds (900 KG) of fuel in the No. 1 main tank.

 (b)
For system No. 4, there must be 2000 pounds (900 KG) of fuel in the No. 4 main tank.

WARNING:_______ MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF ALL THE
CONTROL SURFACES BEFORE YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER.  THE
AILERONS, RUDDERS, ELEVATORS, FLAPS, SPOILERS, LANDING GEAR,
AND THE THRUST REVERSERS CAN MOVE QUICKLY WHEN YOU SUPPLY
HYDRAULIC POWER.  THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE
 TO EQUIPMENT.

CAUTION: DO NOT OPERATE THE PUMPS IN A HYDRAULIC SYSTEM WHEN THE SYSTEM
_______ IS TOO HOT. THIS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE PUMPS.
DO NOT OPERATE AN AUXILIARY AC HYDRAULIC PUMP FOR MORE THAN 30 MINUTES IF THERE IS NOT SUFFICIENT FUEL FOR THE OPERATION. THE HEAT EXCHANGERS IN THE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM USE FUEL TO REMOVE THE HEAT FROM THE HYDRAULIC FLUID.
DO NOT OPERATE A HYDRAULIC SYSTEM FOR 20 MINUTES AFTER A SYSTEM BECOMES TOO HOT.
 (5)  Put the HYD PUMPS DEMAND switch, for the applicable system, in the AUX position.
