To do the internal leakage check, it is necessary to pressurize each hydraulic system to 3000 psig. A hydraulic service cart or the system demand pump can be used as a pressure source. If a hydraulic service cart is used as a pressure source, it is necessary to install a flowmeter in the hydraulic pressure line between the cart and the system pressure module. If the system demand pump is used, it is necessary to:

 (1)  
Install a flowmeter in the hydraulic line between the demand pump pressure port and the pressure module

 (2)  
Have a sufficent quantity of fuel in the fuel tanks for the operation of the heat exhanger.

 C.  
To do the external leakage check, it is necessary to pressurize each hydraulic system to 3000 psig. Each system pump is used as a pressure source. It is necessary to have a sufficient quantity of fuel in the fuel tanks for the operation of the heat exchanger.

 D.  
It is necessary to open the doors on the trailing edge fairing to get access for these tasks. On the inboard systems, it is also necessary to open the landing gear doors.
