 If the system demand pump was used as a pressure source, remove the flowmeter:

 (a)  
Remove the flowmeter from the pressure line of the demand pump.

 (b)  
Connect the pressure line for the demand pump to the pump port for the demand pump.

 (c)  
Put the system HYD PUMPS DEMAND switch in the ON position (P5 Overhead Panel).

 (d)  
Examine the pressure port connection on the demand pump for leakage.

 (e)  
Put the system HYD PUMPS DEMAND switch in the OFF position.

 (f)  
Repair the cause of leakage from the pressure connection for the demand pump.

 If a hydraulic service cart was used as a pressure source, disconnect the hydraulic service cart:

 (a)  
Disconnect the pressure line of the hydraulic service cart from the system No. 1 and 4 pressure modules.

 (b)  
Disconnect the return line of the hydraulic service cart from the system No. 1 and 4 return modules.

 Examine the doors on the trailing edge fairing:

 (a)  
Examine the door latches on the trailing edge fairing for cracks and wear.

 (b)  
Make sure that all latch assemblies are installed.

 (c)  
Repair and adjust the latches if it is necessary

 (23) Write the flow values on Fig. 601.  Compare the measured flows to the maximum recommended flows. Replace the applicable components until the total system internal leakage is less than 5 GPM.
 NOTE: If the result of a flow calculation is a negative number,
____ it is possible that the component has a null leakage of a control valve that is more than the recommended flow. Replace these components because they have too much piston seal leakage.
