Operate the bleed valve on the reservoir pressurization module to release the pressure in the reservoir (AMM 29-11-00/201).

Drain the hydraulic reservoir fluid:
(a)
Put the 10 gallon (40 liter) container below the EDP.
(b)
Disconnect the supply hose from the EDP.
NOTE: The supply hose is the largest hose.

(c)
Install the MS21902-20 union in the supply hose.
(d)
Drain the reservoir fluid into the container.
(e)
Remove the union from the supply hose.
(f)
Connect the supply hose to the EDP.
1) Tighten the hose connection to 855-945 pound-inches (95-105 N.m).

Remove the three piece clamp block assembly:
(a)
Remove the bolts (1) and the washers (2).
(b)
Remove the cap angle (3) and the block half (4).
(c)
Remove the spacers (5).
(d)
Remove the block halves (6 and 7).

Remove the hydraulic shutoff valve (8):
(a)
Disconnect the hydraulic shutoff valve (8).
(b)
Remove the bolts (9), the washers (11), and the nuts (12).
(c)
Remove the hydraulic shutoff valve (8) from between the adapter flanges (14).

(d) Remove the packings (10) from the grooves in the inlet and outlet surfaces of the hydraulic shutoff valve (8). 1) Discard the packings.
