(5) S 012-054Open the thrust reverser half on the right side of the engine (AMM 78-31-00/201).
(6) S 022-057Remove the plug and seal assembly from the gearbox drive shaft: (a) Remove the the tab washer and the nut from the end of the bolt. (b) Remove the gearshaft bolt and the gearshaft plug.
(7) S 032-058Remove the plug assemblies from the supply hose, the outlet hose, and the case drain hose.
(8) S 032-060Remove the pump pad plug.
(9) S 432-061Connect the drain line for the pump pad.

Install the EDP (AMM 29-11-05/401).

Close the thrust reverser on the right side of the engine (AMM 78-31-00/201).

ENGINE-DRIVEN HYDRAULIC PUMP - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. This procedure contains the tasks remove and install the engine-driven pump (EDP). The installation task also contains a test of the EDP installation.
B. The EDP installation is the same on each engine.
C. You can get access to the EDP through the thrust reverser half on the right side of the engine.
D. If you replace an engine-driven pump for one of the conditions which follow, refer to AMM 29-11-00/201 for the procedure which is necessary to flush the hydraulic system or replace the filters.

Mechanical failure

Leakage at the shaft seal or the housing seal.
(3)
The EDP became too hot.
