Remove the hydraulic reservoir:
(a)
Hold the diagonal brace and disconnect the aft nacelle-strut-attach pin/bolt from the diagonal brace (AMM 54-51-02/401).
(b)
Lower and hold the aft end of the diagonal brace to a distance that will permit the removal of the reservoir.

D. Procedure
S 424-030
(1)
Install the hydraulic reservoir:
(a)
Make sure the reservoir is clean and the mounting surfaces do not have unwanted materials on them.
(b)
Clean the area near the reservoir bolt holes to give an electrical bond (SWPM 20-20-00).
(c)
Remove the caps from the reservoir ports and the lines.
CAUTION: MAKE SURE THE MOUNTING FRAME IS FLAT AGAINST THE AIRPLANE
_______ STRUCTURE. IF THE MOUNTING FRAME IS NOT FLAT AGAINST THE STRUCTURE, DAMAGE TO THE FRAME CAN OCCUR.
(d) Hold the reservoir in its position.
NOTE: On the reservoir in hydraulic system No. 1 or No. 4, the
____ sight glass must be on the outboard side of the reservoir. On the reservoir in hydraulic system No. 2 or No. 3, the sight glass must be on the inboard side of the reservoir. On all reservoirs, a blanking plug is on the opposite side of the reservoir from the sight glass. If it is necessary to change the sight glass and blanking plug locations, tighten the sight glass cap to 100-120 pound-inches (11.3-13.6 N.m).
(e)
Install the mounting bolts at three locations.
(f)
Do a check of the clearance between the fourth mounting lug and the airplane structure.
(g)
If the clearance is more than 0.06 inch (1.52 mm), add washers between the lug and the structure to make the clearance 0.06 inch (1.52 mm) or less.
(h)
Hold the diagonal brace and install the aft nacelle-strut-attach pin/bolt (AMM 54-51-02/401).
S 434-034
(2)
Connect the hydraulic fluid reservoir:
(a)
Install the clampblock that attaches the tubes to the reservoir. 1) Make sure the clampblock does apply pressure against the
reservoir.
2) If there is pressure, loosen the reservoir mounting bolts and adjust the reservoir to release the pressure. a) Tighten the bolts.
