(3) Put the access platforms below the applicable wing trailing edge at flap tracks 3 and 4, zones 532 (632) and 533 (633).

-MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CABLES ARE INSTALLED CORRECTLY. INCORRECT INSTALLATION CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.

A. Preparation for Inspection
(1)
Disconnect the outboard flap from the flap track 3 and 4 carriages (Ref. TASK 27-54-62-000-001). Do not remove the end stop from the flap track.
(2)
Move the applicable carriage along the flap track, until you can get clear access to the carriage forging.
(3)
Use a clamp to hold the carriage in position on the flap track. Use protective pads to stop damage to the flap track surfaces.
(4)
Use a MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003), made moist with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-026) to clean the carriage forging.

C. Installation of the Outboard Flap
(1)
Remove the clamp and the protective pads from the flap track.
(2)
Connect the outboard flap to the flap track 3 and 4 carriages (Ref. TASK 27-54-62-400-001).
