Install the new cover(s) on the applicable inspection hole(s).

A. Inspection of Inboard Flap, Bottom Surface, Drain Holes and Inspection Holes
(1)
Examine the inboard flap, bottom surface drain holes. Make sure that:
-there are no rubber grommets installed in the drain holes
-the drain holes are not blocked.
(2)
If a drain hole is blocked, remove all unwanted material from around the hole. Use a 5.0mm (0.2 in.) dia. non-metallic probe to remove the blockage from the hole.
(3)
Examine the inboard flap, bottom surface inspection holes. Make sure that:
-
the rubber grommets are correctly installed in each inspection hole
-
the rubber grommets are in good condition.

B. Replace Defective or Missing Inspection Hole Rubber Grommets
(1)
Remove and discard the damaged inspection hole rubber grommet(s).
(2)
Use a MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003), made moist with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-026) to clean the internal surfaces of the applicable inboard flap, bottom surface inspection hole(s).
R (3) Install the new rubber grommet(s) in the applicable inspection R hole(s).
