 Install the LOCKING TOOL - FLAP/SLAT CONTROL LEVER (98D27803000000) on the flap/slat control lever.

 Put the access platform below the applicable wing trailing edge at flap track 3, zone 532(632).
 (2)
 Remove the access panel 532AT (632AT) and the flap track 3 fairing 532CB (632CB) (Ref. TASK 57-55-11-000-001).
 (3)
 Remove the outboard flap leading edge panel 2 (Ref. TASK 27-54-62-000-003).
 (4)
 Remove and discard the cover from the LH inspection hole on the front spar.
 (5)
 Make sure that the inspection hole is clear of unwanted material.
