(1) Use a MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003), made moist with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-004) to clean the flap drive linkage, the drive fitting, the attachment brackets and the adjacent skin at flap track 2.

(1) Examine the flap drive linkage, the drive fitting, the attachment brackets and the adjacent skin at flap track 2. Make sure that:

there is no corrosion or damage
-
there are no cracks
-the surface protection is in the correct condition
-there is no delamination of the skin.
NOTE : If necessary, refer to the ASRM (Ref. ASRM 575200) for the

correct repair procedure.
