R  D. Get Access 
R  (1) Put the access platform in position below the tab hinge-fairing at 
R  zone 535(635). 
R  (2) Remove the applicable inboard flap tab hinge-fairing at Rib 3 
R  (Ref. TASK 57-55-11-000-005): 
R  - for the left wing, remove 535AB, 535BB 
R  - for the right wing, remove 635AB, 635BB. 
R  (3) Put the spark-proof lamp adjacent to the inspection area. 
R  4. Procedure_________

R  CAUTION : BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU DO MAINTENANCE TASKS ON THE WING TRAILING_______ 
R  EDGE: 
R  - DO NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRICAL CABLE RACEWAYS. 
R  - DO NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRICAL CABLE INSTALLATIONS. 
R  - MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CABLES ARE INSTALLED CORRECTLY. 
R  INCORRECT INSTALLATION CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.

R  A. Detailed Visual Inspection of Inboard Double Slotted Flap, Tab Drive 
R  Assembly and Articulation at Rib 3, LH/RH 
R  (1) Do an inspection of the control rod, the drive rods, the support rod 
R  and the tab links. Make sure that: 
R  - there is no damage 
R  - there is no corrosion 
R  - there are no cracks or scores 
R  - the inboard double slotted flap, tab drive assembly and 
R  articulation are correctly installed.

R  (2) Do an inspection of the forward and middle levers, the front and aft 
R  flap brackets, the tab joining, tab leader ship and the bracket. Make 
R  sure that: 
R  - there is no damage 
R  - there is no corrosion 
R  - there are no cracks or scores 
R  - the surface protection is in the correct condition. 
R  NOTE : If necessary, refer to the ASRM (Ref. ASRM 575200) for the____ 
R  correct repair procedure. 
R  5. Close-up________

R  (1) Remove the spark-proof lamp from the inspection area. 
R  (2) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other

R  (3) Install the applicable inboard flap tab hinge-fairing (Ref. TASK 57-
R  55-11-400-005): 
R  - for the left wing, install 535AB, 535BB 
R  - for the right wing, install 635AB, 635BB.

R  B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit

R  6CV, 8CV.
