R (1) Put a warning notice on the flap/slat control lever (panel 114VU) to
R tell persons not to operate the flaps.
R (2) Put the safety barriers in position.

R (1) Put the access platform in position below the inboard flap at zone
R 581(681).
R (2) Remove and discard the covers to the inspection holes in the bottom
R skin each side of Rib 3.
R (3) Make sure that the applicable inspection holes are clear of unwanted
R material.

R CAUTION : BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU DO MAINTENANCE TASKS ON THE WING TRAILING_______
R EDGE:
R - DO NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRICAL CABLE RACEWAYS.
R - DO NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRICAL CABLE INSTALLATIONS.
R - MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CABLES ARE INSTALLED CORRECTLY.
R INCORRECT INSTALLATION CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.

R A. Inspection
R (1) Do a special detailed inspection of Rib 3 of the inboard double
R slotted flap LH/RH (Ref. NTM 575239 PART 9).
R NOTE : If necessary, refer to the ASRM (Ref. ASRM 575200) for the____
R correct repair procedure. If the defect is not included in
R this repair, you must request a procedure from Airbus
R Industrie.

R (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other
R items.
R (2) Use BONDING AND ADHESIVE COMPOUNDS (Material No. 08-061A), cut to the
R correct dimensions, to make new covers for the inspection holes.
