install the SHUNT PLUG - FIRE EXTINGUISHER CARTRIDGE (2-100831-1) or the SHUNT DEVICE - SUPERSEDED BY 2-100831-1 (30840007) to the cartridge (2).
(6)
Put blanking caps on the disconnected electrical connectors.

A. Removal of the Fire-Extinguisher Bottle Cartridge (12WF) WARNING : THE CARTRIDGE IS AN EXPLOSIVE DEVICE. TO PREVENT EXPLOSION OF
_______ THE CARTRIDGE (NOT FIRED) AND INJURY TO PERSONNEL: -INSTALL THE APPLICABLE PROTECTIVE DEVICE (CAP OR PLUG). THIS WILL PROTECT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR OF THE CARTRIDGE. DO NOT USE A FOIL SHUNT.
(1)
Remove the nut (6), the bonding strap (5) and the washer (4).
(2)
Remove and discard the safety wire from the electrical connector (1).
(3)
Remove and discard the safety wire from the cartridge (2).
(4)
Disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the cartridge (2).
(5)
Install the SHUNT DEVICE - FIRE EXTINGUISHER CARTRIDGE (324301) to the cartridge (2).
(6)
Put blanking caps on the disconnected electrical connectors.
(7)
Remove the cartridge (2) together with the bonding lug (3).

-INSTALL A SHUNT DEVICE.
-THIS WILL SHUNT THE PINS TOGETHER ON THE CARTRIDGE BEFORE ITS
REMOVAL.
DO NOT USE A FOIL SHUNT.
