A. Removal of the Cartridge
(1) Make sure that a SHUNT PLUG - FIRE EXTINGUISHER CARTRIDGE (263193) (1) is installed on the cartridge (2).
(2) Cut and remove the lockwire from the cartridge (2) and discharge head (4).
(3) Remove the cartridge (2) and the copper bonding washer (3) from the discharge head (4).
R (4) Put a blanking plug on the discharge head (4).

A. Installation of the Cartridge WARNING : MAKE SURE THAT THE MAXIMUM PERMITTED LIFE (MPL) OF THE
_______ CARTRIDGE IS LONGER THAN THE TIME TO THE NEXT SCHEDULED INSPECTION.
(1)
Remove the SHUNT PLUG - FIRE EXTINGUISHER CARTRIDGE (263193) (1) from the cartridge (2).
(2)
Remove the blanking plug from the discharge head (4).
(3)
Put the copper bonding washer (3) on the discharge head (4). NOTE : Make sure that the copper bonding washer (3) is in a correct
____ position on the discharge head shoulder.
(4)
Install the cartridge (2) on the discharge head (4) and tighten by hand.
(5)
Put the bottle assembly on the DISCHARGE HEAD, INSTL - FIRE EXTINGUISHER BOTTLE (98D26203500000) and turn the copper bonding washer (3) so that it points to the placard (10).
(6)
TORQUE the cartridge (2) to between 1 and 1.1 m.daN (88.49 and 97.34 lbf.in).
(7)
Safety the nut of the discharge head (4) and the cartridge (2) with
stainless steel lockwire. R
