Remove the blanking plugs from the disconnected line ends.
(b)
Make sure that the 0-ring (18) is correctly installed in the groove of the discharge outlet (14).
(c)
Install the spray tubing (15) to the discharge outlet (14) and the lower spray tubing. Do not fully tighten the nuts (19) at this time.
(d)
Install the clamp (16).

(e) Make sure that the spray tubing (15) is aligned with the discharge outlet (14).
(3)
Tighten the nuts (4) and (10) at the bottle mounting lugs.
(4)
Tighten the nut (2) of the overboard discharge pipe (16).
(5)
Tighten the nuts (19).
(6)
Safety the nuts (19) with corrosion-resistant steel lockwire 0.8 mm
(0.032 in.) dia.
(7)
TORQUE the swivel nut (13) to between 6.1 and 7.5 m.daN (44.98 and
55.30 lbf.ft).

Safety the swivel nut (13) with corrosion-resistant steel lockwire
0.8 mm (0.032 in.) dia.
(9)
Connection of the electrical connector
(a)
Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors.
(b)
Make sure that the electrical connectors are clean and in the correct condition.
(c)
Connect the electrical connector (3).
(10) Install the fire-extinguisher-bottle cartridge (20) (Ref. TASK 26-22-42-400-001).

A. Preparation for Installation CAUTION : DO NOT TOUCH THE FRANGIBLE DISC INSIDE THE FIRE EXTINGUISHER
_______ BOTTLE UNLESS IT IS BROKEN (CARTRIDGE FIRED). YOU COULD MAKE DAMAGE TO THE FRANGIBLE DISC OR BREAK IT.
(1)
Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(2)
Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(3)
Remove the blanking plugs from the disconnected lines end.
(4)
Make sure that the screen (11) in the discharge outlet (14) is in the clean and correct condition and replace if necessary.
(a)
Remove the discharge outlet (14) from the fire extinguisher bottle (21).
(b)
Make sure that the discharge outlet (14) is in the correct condition.
(c)
Remove the screen (11) and install the new screen (11) in the discharge outlet (14).
(d)
Install the discharge outlet (14) to the fire extinguisher bottle (21), but do not tighten the swivel nut (13) at this time.
(5)
Make sure that the spray tubings, the straight connectors (17), and the nuts (19) are clean and in correct condition.
(6)
Install the new 0-rings (18) on the spray tubing (15) and on the discharge outlet (14).

B. Installation of the Fire Extinguisher Bottle (11WF)
(1) Installation of the fire extinguisher bottle
(a)
Apply SPECIAL MATERIALS (Material No. 05-002) to two of the bottle flanges but not the one with the bonding strap, the bolts (6), the washers (5) and the nuts (4).
(b)
Put the fire extinguisher bottle (21) in position.
(c)
Install the bolts (6), the washers (5) and the nuts (4). Do not fully tighten the nuts (4) at this time.
(d)
Install the bonding strap (8) with the washers (9), the bolt (7) and the nut (10) (Ref. TASK 20-28-00-912-004). Do not fully tighten the nuts (4) at this time.
(e)
Remove the blanking plugs from the disconnected line ends.
(f)
Connect the overboard pipe (1). Do not fully tighten the nut (2) at this time.
