-Disconnect the line (3) from the discharge head (2) and move the bottle (1) to get access to the line (3).
-Remove the four screws and washers which attach the forward fire-extinguisher bottle (7).
-Disconnect the line (4) from the discharge head (6) and move the bottle (7) to get access to the line (4).
(b)
Install the manifold adapter (14) TEST TOOL - ENGINE FIRE EXTINGUISHING SYSTEM, the clamp (13) and the flexible pipe (12) on the outlet B (detail F).
(c)
Connect the manifold assembly (11) TEST TOOL - ENGINE FIRE EXTINGUISHING SYSTEM to the flexible pipe (12).
R (d) Connect a compressed air source (up to 2.07 bars (30 psi)) to the R manifold assembly (11).
(e)
Open the compressed air source and make sure that the air flows from the outlets A, C, D, E, F and G (detail B) and H and J (detail C).
(f)
Close the compressed air source.
(2) Leak test
(a)
Install the plug assy (8) TEST TOOL - ENGINE FIRE EXTINGUISHING SYSTEM on the outlets H and J of the lines (4) and (3) (details C and D).
(b)
Install the blanks (9) TEST TOOL - ENGINE FIRE EXTINGUISHING SYSTEM on the outlets E and F (detail H).
(c)
Install the blanks (10) TEST TOOL - ENGINE FIRE EXTINGUISHING SYSTEM on the outlets A, D, C and G (detail G).
(d)
Pressurize the line to 2.07 bars (30 psi).
R (e) Close the valve of the manifold assembly (11) to isolate the R extinguishing line.
(f)
During 5 minutes, make sure that there is no leakage: pressure must not decrease more than 0.13 bar (1.88 psi).
(g)
Close the compressed air source.
(h)
Open the drain valve to depressurize the extinguishing line.
(i) Disconnect the compressed air source. R (j) Disconnect the manifold assembly (11) from the line.
(k)
Remove the blanks (10), the blanks (9) and the plug assy (8).
(l)
Remove the clamp (13), the flexible pipe (12) and the manifold adapter (14).
5. Close-up

A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
(1)
If the bottles were not installed, install them (Ref. TASK 26-21-41-400-001) and go to the step B.
(2)
Connect the lines (4) and (3) to the discharge heads (6) and (2) (Ref. TASK 26-21-41-400-001).
(3)
Install the four screws and washers which attach the aft fire-extinguisher bottle (1).
(4)
Install the four screws and washers which attach the forward fire-extinguisher bottle (7).
