B. Removal of the Engine Fire-Extinguishing Pipes
(1)
Remove the left lower bulkhead assy (view E):
(a)
Remove the nuts (28), the washers (27) and the bolts (23), (24) and (25).
(b)
Remove the left lower bulkhead assy (29).
(2)
Remove the fire-extinguishing pipe (views C and D):
(a)
Cut and discard the lockwire from the knurled nuts (3).
(b)
Loosen by hand the knurled nuts (3) from the pipes (5) and (15), and the union (1).
(c)
Remove and discard the O-rings (2).
(d)
Remove the bolts (16), the spacers (17) and the washers (18).
(e)
Remove the rubber pad (19).
(f)
Remove the fire-extinguishing pipe (4)

Remove the fire-extinguishing pipe (view B):
(a)
Remove the bolts (30) and the clamp (32) from the clamp block (31), (see view F).
(b)
Remove the 2 bolts (35) and the washers (36) from the pipe (9).
(c)
Hold the nut (8) and loosen the nut (7) on the pipe (6).
(d)
Remove the bolts (11), the washers (12) and the nuts (14).
(e)
Disengage the pipe (15) from the pipe (9) and remove the pipe (9).
(f)
Remove and discard the O-ring (13).
(4)
Put blanking plugs on the disconnected line ends.
