A. Do a visual inspection of the Fire Extinguisher Tubes Assembly installed on the inlet cowl. (Ref. Fig. 601/TASK 26-21-49-991-006)

1. Examine the fire extinguisher tube assembly, look for:
A. Cracks, splits or kinks. None permitted. Replace the tube(Ref. TASK 26-21-49-000-003) and (Ref. TASK 26-21-49-400-003).
B. Wrinkles in bends. Maximum depth cannot be more than 3 percent of the tube diameter or 0.06 in. (1.5239 mm) which ever is smaller. If wrinkles are more thanthe allowable limits,replace the tube(Ref. TASK 26-21-49-000-003) and (Ref. TASK 26-21-49-400-003).
C. Dents. Maximum depth cannot be more than 10 percent of the tube outside diameter. Maximum radius must be less than 2 times the wall thickness. Maximum of 2 If the dents are more thanthe allowable limits,replace the tube(Ref. TASK 26-21-49-000-003) and (Ref. TASK 26-21-49-400-003).
