CAUTION : TO RESET THE ENG 1(2) APU FIRE PUSHBUTTON SWITCH:

-PUSH THE PUSHBUTTON SWITCH FULLY IN (LATCHED POSITION).
THEN CLOSE THE GUARD.
DO NOT TRY TO CLOSE THE GUARD AND PUSH THE PUSHBUTTON SWITCH AT THE
SAME TIME.

A. Energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. TASK 24-41-00-861-002).

B. Safety Precautions
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put a warning notice to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(3) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b) Put a warning notice to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).

C. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
R (1) On the ENG panel 115VU:
R (a) Make sure that the ENG/MASTER 1(2) toggle switch is at ON.
R R (b) Make sure that the ENG MODE selector switch is set to NORM.
(2) On the AIR COND panel 30VU:
(a) The ENG 1 BLEED and ENG 2 BLEED pushbutton switches must be pushed, the OFF legend is off.
(b) The PACK 1(2) pushbutton switch must be pushed, the OFF legend is off and the FAULT legend is on.
R R (3) Do the EIS start procedure (Upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU only) (Ref. TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
R R (4) Do the ground air preconditioning with the APU (Ref. TASK 12-33-21-618-001) or with the HP ground supply unit (Ref. TASK 12-33-21-618-001).

R D. On the overhead panel 20VU, on the ENG/APU FIRE panel 1WD, open the safety guard of the ENG 1(2) FIRE pushbutton switch.
