A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2)
In the Cockpit on the CAPT jack panel, connect the 600 ohm headset to the related connector.
(3)
On the overhead panel 50VU, make sure that the ON legend on the SVCE INT OVRD p/bsw is OFF.

C. Get Access
(1)
Put the access platform in position below the access door 312AR.
(2)
Open the access door 312AR.
(3)
Set the SERVICE LT SW 3LJ to ON.
(4)
Put the access platform in position below the access door 314AR.
(5)
Open the access door 314AR.
(6)
In Zone 314, connect the 600 ohm boomset to the service interphone jack.

A. Do a check at the Pressure Switch of the APU Fire Extinguisher Bottle
NOTE : For this test procedure we recommend that a minimum of two persons____ are in constant contact with each other through the service interphone system. One person must monitor the cockpit APU FIRE panel 20VU, the other person must be at Zone 312.

ACTION RESULT

R R R R R R 1. On the APU fire extinguisher bottle: - put the 3/32in./Allen key (1) into the pressure-switch hexagon test-socket (2). Slowly turn the Allen key clockwise or counterclockwise approx. 10 degrees. On the APU FIRE panel 20VU:- the DISCH legend in the AGENT p/bsw comes on.
R R R NOTE : The pressure effect puts____ the Allen key back to its initial position. On the APU FIRE panel 20VU:- the DISCH legend in the AGENT p/bsw goes off.
R 2. On the APU Fire extinguisher bottle: - release the Allen key.
R R 3. On the APU fire extinguisher bottle: - remove the Allen key from the test socket.

5. Close-up

A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
(1)
Disconnect the boomset from the service interphone jack.
(2)
Disconnect the boomset from the CAPT jack panel.
(3)
Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
(4)
Close the access door 314AR.
(5)
Set the SERVICE LT SW 3LJ to OFF.
(6)
Close the access door 312AR.
(7) Remove the access platform(s). Subtask 26-22-00-865-082
B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 1KD, 2KD.

C. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
(1) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
