A. Weight Check
(1)
Remove the protective cap (supplied by bottle vendor).
(2)
Do a weight check of the fire extinguisher bottle with the scale up to 80 lbs (36 kg) accuracy 0.01 lb (0.005 kg) as follows
-put the CRADLE - FIRE EXTINGUISHER BOTTLE (83000007) on the scale,
-adjust the scale to zero,
-put the bottle on the cradle,
-the weight of the bottle must be the same as the weight specified on the bottle identification plate, minus 0.10 lb (0.05 kg) maximum.
R R NOTE : The weight specified on the bottle does not include the weight____ of the discharge head, cartridge and protective caps.
R (3) Install the protective cap (supplied by bottle vendor).
