2. Press the FMS # POS line select key to access the DEFINE
POSITION page. Press the line select key to position the cursor
over the system’s latitude coordinate.
3. Enter the desired latitude and longitude as necessary. First,
enter the corrected latitude. When the latitude in entered, the
cursor will expand to cover the longitude entry field. Enter the
corrected longitude. The ± key may be used prior to coordinate
input to change the hemisphere (N,S,E,W).
4. Press the ACCEPT line select key to accept the coordinate
entries. When the coordinates are accepted, the FMS best
computed position, as well as all OSS computed positions, will
be updated.
NOTE: If the manual input position differs from the frozen position
by more than 10.0 arc minutes, a VERIFY POSITION
message will be displayed below the coordinates. If the
input coordinates are correct, press the ACCEPT line
select key.
A snapshot of FMS position will be taken when the HOLD POS line
select key is pressed. The FMS will continue to navigate normally.
When the new position is entered, the FMS will project current
position based on current time and velocities.

Sensor Computed Position Update
The following procedure applies only to OSS sensors configured to
accept enroute position updates initiated by the FMS. Inertial
sensors will not accept updates once they are out of the ALIGN
mode; i.e., while in the NAV mode. Once they are out of the
SEARCH mode, LCS sensors will only accept updates if the update
position differs by more than five miles. However, an LCS will reinitiate
the SEARCH mode if the LCS position varies significantly
from that of the update position. Whenever this procedure is
accomplished, all OSS sensors capable of accepting updates will be
updated. This update can be accomplished on the NAV Position
page (NAV page 2).
1. Access NAV page 2.
2. Press the UPDATE SENSORS line select key. This will transmit
FMS Best Computed Position to all connected sensors.
NOTE: In a dual installation, OSS 1 will normally be updated by
FMS 1 and OSS 2 will normally be updated by FMS 2.

FUEL AND PERFORMANCE
Introduction
The FUEL key provides access to all fuel management functions.
Five fuel function pages may be displayed. The first FUEL function
page is used during the predeparture phase to input the initial fuel on
board, to calculate the gross weight of the airplane, and to construct
a reserves plan. The other four FUEL function pages provide a
summary of all fuel management functions for the current flight plan,
fuel flow, and fuel used.
NOTE: The Fuel Flow management information provided by the
FMS has not been evaluated to the requirements of TSO
C44a (Fuel Flowmeters).
Fuel display parameters are advisory only and do not
replace primary fuel quantity or fuel flow gauges for fuel
load and range planning.
All fuel quantity and gross weight displays are computed values
based upon the initial fuel on board as input by the pilot. These
values are constantly corrected through inputs from the fuel flow
sensors as fuel is burned.
NOTE: It is extremely important to understand that all FMS fuel
mode calculations are based on the pilot's initial entry of
fuel on board and subsequent automatic or manual fuel
flow measurements subtracted over time. There is no
direct connection to the aircraft's fuel quantity system by
the FMS, so the aircraft's system remains the primary
reference for all fuel and range calculations.

FUEL MANAGEMENT
FUEL OPTIONS Page
With any FUEL page displayed, pressing the MENU key will access
the FUEL OPTIONS page.
The left side of the display is for viewing conversions. Pressing any
of the left line select keys will place the cursor over that respective
entry field. Entry of a value into one field will cause all other fields to
display the same value converted per the entry field heading.
The right side of the display is for selecting crossfill, tank or total for
fuel on board entries, and to return to the prior display.
XFILL- Available only in a dual installation, the XFILL feature causes
the fuel onboard to be crossfilled (copied) to or from the other FMS.
The system can be configured with either the PUSH or PULL option.
Check with the Aircraft Flight Manual Supplement for specific
crossfill configuration.
FUEL ENTRY - When TANK is selected, fuel will be entered per
tank. When the FUEL ONBOARD line select key of FUEL page 1 is
