by selecting the CREATE PLT option.
If the identifier is not in the data base, the DEFINE WPT page will
be displayed so that pilot defined waypoint (PILOT WPT) can be
entered. A PILOT WPT can be defined by any of three methods:
1. Latitude/Longitude, where the coordinates of the pilot defined
waypoint are entered directly.
2. Radial/Distance, where a reference waypoint (which can be a
waypoint, VOR, NDB or airport) is identified and a
radial/distance offset is specified.
3. Radial/Radial, where two reference waypoints are identified,
and the radial for each is specified. This method is useful, for
example, in identifying the unnamed intersection of two airways.
Once defined this waypoint will be stored in the Pilot data base.
