For the engines with the HPC case bracket (26), attach the forward end of the fuel flow transmitter (4) with the steps that follow:

Lubricate the threads of the bolts (6) with engine oil.

(b)  Attach the forward end of the fuel flow transmitter (4) to the adapter (5) and brackets (26 and 27) with the bolts (6) and washers (7).

ENGINES WITH TWO BRACKETS (23 AND 24); Attach the forward end of the fuel flow transmitter (4) with the steps that follow:

 (a)  
Lubricate the threads of the bolts (6) with engine oil.

 (b)  
Attach the forward end of the fuel flow transmitter (4) to the adapter (5) and brackets (24 and 27) with the bolts (6) and washer (7)


 NOTE: Do not tighten the bolts (22) which attach the
____ bracket (24) and plate (25) to the HPC case bracket (23).

Move the transfer tube (1) forward against the aft end of the fuel flow transmitter (4).

 (a)  
Make sure the alignment pin in the end of the fuel flow transmitter engages with the recess in the flange of the transfer tube (1).

Put the adapter (9) on the transfer tube (1).

 (a)  
Make sure the slot in the forward end of the adapter engages the pin in the aft face of the transfer tube flange.

 Attach the forward end of the adapter (9) and transfer tube (1) to the aft end of the fuel flow transmitter (4) with the bolts (10) and washers (7).

Tighten the bolts (10) to 85-95 pound-inches (9.6-10.7 newton-meters).

Install the lockwire to the bolts (10).

 Lubricate the bolts (13 and 14) with engine oil.

 Put the bracket (21) on the aft end of the adapter (9).

Tighten the bolts (13 and 14) to 85-95 pound-inches (9.6-10.7 newton-meters).

Install the lockwire to the bolts (13 and 14).

 ENGINES WITH TWO BRACKETS (23 AND 24); Tighten the bolts (22) which attach the bracket (24) and plate (25) to the HPC case bracket (23) to 85-95 pound-inches (9.6-10.7 newton-meters).
