To change the command channel from channel B to channel A, open these circuit breakers for the applicable engine and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:

 3) 6D16 ENG 3 PERF SOL PWR B

Do a cycle of the applicable EEC MAINT ENG 1,2,3, or 4 POWER switch on the EEC MAINT module from NORM to TEST.

Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition

After you do a test or maintenance procedure, remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags and close these circuit breakers on the applicable engine:

FUEL METERING UNIT - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

 1.  General
_______
 A.  This procedure gives the tasks for the removal and installation of the Fuel Metering Unit (FMU) M3108 from the fuel pump. During the removal of the FMU, the fuel pump stays on the engine. For the removal and installation of the FMU and fuel pump as one unit, refer to AMM 73-11-01/401.
 B.  The FMU is attached to the forward side of the fuel pump. The fuel pump is attached on the forward side of the main gearbox at the 5 o'clock position.
 C.  You can get the access to the FMU when you open the left and the right thrust reverser.
