Install the adapter (10) in the P2 port on the EEC (2).

 1)  Tighten the adapter (10) to 65-75 pound-inches (7.3-8.5 newton-meters).

 (f)  
Install the adapter (11) in the PAMB port on the EEC (2).

 1)  Tighten the adapter (11) to 90-100 pound-inches (10.1-11.3 newton-meters).

 (g)  
Install the adapter (16) in the PB port on the EEC (2).

 1)  Tighten the adapter (16) to 110-120 pound-inches (12.4-13.6 newton-meters).

 (h)  
Install the adapter (17) in the P5 port on the EEC (2).


 1)  Tighten the adapter (17) to 150-170 pound-inches (16.9-19.2 newton-meters).

Install the EEC (2) on the engine with the bolt holes in the shock mounts aligned with the holes in the brackets.

 (a)  
Make sure the pressure sensing ports point down.

Lubricate the threads of the bolts (27) with engine oil.

Attach the EEC (2) to the engine brackets with the bolts (27) and washers (26).

 (a)  
Tighten the bolts (27) to 150-170 pound-inches (16.9-19.2 newton-meters).

 CAUTION: HOLD THE WRENCH FLATS FOR THE EEC ADAPTERS WHEN YOU TORQUE THE
_______ HOSE NUTS. THIS WILL PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE THREADS IN THE EEC.
 (8)  
Connect the hose (12) to the adapter (10).

 (a)  
Tighten the coupling nut to 90-100 pound-inches (10.2-11.3 newton-meters). 1) Install the Lockwire or the Safety Cable and Safety Cable


 Ferrule to the tube nuts.

Connect the hose (13) to the adapter (11).

 (a)  
Tighten the coupling nut to 135-150 pound-inches (15.3-16.9 newton-meters). 1) Install the Lockwire or the Safety Cable and Safety Cable


 Ferrule to the tube nuts.

 Connect the hose (15) to the adapter (17).

Tighten the coupling nut to 450-500 pound-inches (50.8-56.5 newton-meters). 1) Install the Lockwire or the Safety Cable and Safety Cable

 Connect the hose (14) to the adapter (16).

 CAUTION:_______ DO NOT CONNECT THE GROUNDING STRAP TO THE EEC IF IT HAS LOOSE
 MOUNTING LUGS OR THE STRANDS ARE MORE THAN 25 PERCENT BROKEN.
 A GROUNDING STRAP WITH LOOSE MOUNTING LUGS OR BROKEN STRANDS
 CAN CAUSE UNSATISFACTORY LIGHTNING PROTECTION.

 (12)
 Examine the grounding strap (25) for loose mounting lugs and broken strands.

 (a)  
If there are loose mounting lugs or the grounding strap is more than 25 percent broken, replace the grounding strap.

 Lubricate the threads of the bolt (24) with engine oil.

 Attach the grounding strap (25) to the top aft corner of the EEC (2) with the bolt (24).

Tighten the bolt (24) to 75-85 pound-inches (8.5-9.6 newton-meters).
