Open the right core cowl panel (AMM 71-11-06/201).

WARNING: OBEY THE INSTRUCTIONS IN AMM 78-31-00/201 WHEN YOU OPEN THE
_______ THRUST REVERSERS. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THE INSTRUCTIONS, INJURIES TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT CAN OCCUR.

Open the right thrust reverser (AMM 78-31-00/201).

Do these steps to remove the W6 harness from the engine:
(a)
Remove the screws which attach the cover and ground lead to the EGT (TT4.95) thermocouple terminal box (View C). 1) Before you disconnect the cable leads, put a tag on each
lead and terminal stud to help you during the installation.
CAUTION: DO NOT TWIST OR BEND THE WIRE HARNESS MORE THAN NECESSARY

DURING THE REMOVAL OF THE WIRE HARNESS. IF THE WIRE
HARNESS IS TWISTED OR BENT, YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE
WIRE HARNESS.
(b) Remove the nuts and washers which attach the W6 harness leads to the TT4.95 terminal studs (View C). 1) Remove the W6 harness leads from the studs. 2) Install the nuts and washers on the studs.
NOTE: The diameters of the chromel nut, washer, and
____ terminal stud are smaller than the diameter of the alumel nuts, washers, and terminal studs.
