WARNING: MAKE SURE THE APPLICABLE CIRCUIT BREAKERS ARE OPEN BEFORE YOU
_______ DO THE WORK ON THE IGNITION SYSTEM. THE VOLTAGE IN THE IGNITION SYSTEM IS VERY HIGH. DO NOT DO THE WORK ON THE IGNITION SYSTEM FOR A MINIMUM OF THREE MINUTES BETWEEN THE OPERATION OF THE IGNITION SYSTEM AND WHEN YOU DISCONNECT THE CABLE. WHEN YOU DISCONNECT THE CABLE FROM THE IGNITER PLUG, GROUND THE CABLE TERMINAL TO REMOVE THE CURRENT TO MAKE SURE THE ENERGY IS FULLY REMOVED FROM THE IGNITION SYSTEM. IF YOU DO NOT REMOVE THE ENERGY FROM THE CABLE, THE ENERGY CAN CAUSE INJURY TO YOU.
(1) For the applicable engine, open these circuit breakers on the main power distribution panel, P6, and attach the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
(a) 6K19 IGN 2 ENG 1
(b) 6K20 IGN 2 ENG 2
(c) 6K21 IGN 2 ENG 3
