For the applicable engine, remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tag and close this circuit breaker as follows:
(a)
P6 Main Power Distribution Panel
1) 6F10 ENG 1 IDLE CONT/TMC DISCRETES
2) 6H19 PROBE HEAT ENG 1
3) 6E10 ENG 2 IDLE CONT/TMC DISCRETES
4) 6H21 PROBE HEAT ENG 2
5) 6D10 ENG 3 IDLE CONT/TMC DISCRETES
6) 6H23 PROBE HEAT ENG 3
7) 6C10 ENG 4 IDLE CONT/TMC DISCRETES
8) 6H25 PROBE HEAT ENG 4
S 864-008-N00
(2) Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tag and close this circuit breaker, 414D25 ENG IDLE CONT, on the main power distribution panel, P414.

E. Do a Test of the Discretes Card for the EEC/TMC

Put the applicable EEC MAINT ENG (1, 2, 3, or 4) POWER switch on the P461 panel to the TEST position.

Get access to the CMCS Input Monitoring (AMM 45-10-00/201).

Make sure the discretes card transmits the correct signal to the
Idle bit (Label 275 Bit 21).

b) 6H21 Probe Heat Engine 2
c) 6H23 Probe Heat Engine 3
d) 6H25 Probe Heat Engine 4

Put the Cowl Anti-Ice on the applicable engine to the ON position.
(e)
Open these circuit breakers for the air-ground mode and attach the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags: 1) P7 Overhead Circuit Breaker panel
a) 7F22 Landing Gear Dsp & Cont Pri b) 7F23 Landing Gear Dsp & Cont Altn
(f)
Make sure the Idle bit goes to 1.
