 10) Install the clamp (9) to the clamp (10) on the oil return tube of the air/oil heat exchanger of the IDG: a) Lubricate the threads of the bolt (11) with engine oil. b) Install the clamps (9 and 10) with the bolt (11) and
 the nut (12). c) Tighten the nut (12) to 36-40 pound-inches (4.1-4.5 newton-meters).
 11) Install the clamp (3A) to the HPC case bracket: a) Lubricate the threads of the bolt (4A) with engine oil. b) Install the bolt (4A) on the clamp (3A) and HPC case
 bracket. 12) Install the clamp (9A) to the HPC bracket: a) Lubricate the threads of the bolt (11A) with engine oil. b) Install the clamp (9A) to the HPC bracket with the bolt (11A) and the nut (12A). c) Tighten the nut (12A) to 36-40 pound-inches (4.1-4.5 newton-meters).
 13) Install the clamps (3) on the EEC wire harness to the support bracket: a) Lubricate the threads of the bolt (4) with engine oil. b) Install the clamps (3) to the support bracket with the
 bolt (4).
 (d)  Install the fuel supply tube (21): 1) Put the supply tube (21) on the engine. 2) Remove the caps from the supply tube (21). 3) Lubricate the threads of the adapter for the fuel bypass
 valve with engine oil. 4) Lubricate the threads of the adapter (22) for the FMU with
 engine oil. 5) Lubricate the supply manifold for the fuel with engine oil. 6) Connect the tube nuts (19, 20, and 25) to the adapter for
 the fuel bypass valve, the adapter (22) for the FMU, and the manifold for the supply fuel. 7) Tighten the tube nut (19) to 200-225 pound-inches (22.6-25.4 newton-meters). 8) Tighten the tube nut (20) to 450-500 pound-inches (50.8-56.5 newton-meters). 9) Tighten the tube nut (25) to 340-375 pound-inches (38.4-42.4 newton-meters). 10) Safety the tube nuts (19, 20, and 25) with lockwire or safety cable and safety cable ferrule.

 CONNECTOR CAN OCCUR. A LOOSE CONNECTOR PERMITS VIBRATION,
 WHICH CAUSES THE CONTACTS TO WEAR AND DECREASES THE LIGHTNING
 PROTECTION.

Connect the electrical connectors (6, 6A, and 31) on the FMU (5)
 (AMM 70-24-05/201):


 (a)  
Remove the caps from the electrical connectors (6 and 6A) W4P2 and W5P1.

 (b)  
Connect the electrical connectors (6 and 6A) W4P2 and W5P1 on the FMU (5).

 (c)  
Connect the electrical connector DM3108 (31): 1) Remove the cap from the electrical connector (31). 2) Connect the electrical connector (31) to the FMU (5).
