Examine the programming plug and the receptacle for pins which are bent and contamination.
(b)
Carefully make the pins, which are bent, straight.
(c)
Clean the connection if it is necessary.
(d)
Align the keyway and push the programmimg plug into the
receptacle.
(e)
While you push in on the programming plug, tighten the coupling ring with your hand.
NOTE: The electrical connectors and the programming plug are
____ correctly attached when you cannot see the color band near the threads.

CAUTION: MAKE SURE THE WIRE HARNESSES FORWARD AND REARWARD OF THE EEC DO
_______ NOT EXTEND MORE THAN THE OUTER SURFACE OF THE EEC. IF NOT, THE WIRE HARNESSES CAN TOUCH THE FAN COWL PANEL WHICH CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
