 ENGINES POST-PW-SB 72-375; Do these steps:

 (a)  
Install the cooling air tube for the bottom of the EEC alternator to brackets on the gearbox, oil tank, and diffuser case.

 (b)  
Lubricate the threads of the bolt with engine oil.

 (c)  
Attach the tube to the brackets with the clamps that stayed with the tube and the bolts and/or nuts.

 (d)  
Tighten the bolts to 36 to 40 pound-inch (4.1-4.5
 newton-meters).

 (17) Remove the protection caps from the electrical connectors (22, 23).

 (18) Connect the electrical connectors (22, 23) to the cable ends of the stator (17) (AMM 70-24-05/201).
 NOTE: You can use the PWA 85749 Adapter to tighten the electrical

 connectors.

 Install the heat shield (5) to the brackets with the bolts (6), washers (7), and nuts (8) and the screws (9) and washers (10).

 Connect the cable (3) for the exciter-to-igniter plug to the lower igniter plug.

 (a)  
Lubricate the threads of the coupling nut (3) with the antiseize compound.

 (b)  
Connect the coupling nut (3) to the igniter plug.

 (c)  
Tighten the coupling nut to 140-160 pound-inches (15.8-18.1 newton-meters).


 NOTE: An incorrect torque on the coupling nut can cause
____ ignition noise which you can hear in the airplane radio equipment.
 (d)  Put the heat shields (1, 4) on the cable (3).

Bend the tabs of the heat shields (1, 4) into the groove in the igniter plug boss.

 (f)  
Attach the heat shields (1, 4) with the clamp (2).

 (g)  
Tighten the clamp (2) to 40-45 pound-inches (4.5-5.1 newton-meters).

 Install the deoiler outlet tube (32) as follows:

 (a)  
Remove the protection caps from the ends of the deoiler outlet tube (32).
