- push (in) the LANDING GEAR SIMULATION P/BSW - the LANDING GEAR SIMULATION pageshows
- push (in) the NOSE+LH+RH P/BSW - the NOSE+LH+RH page menu shows
- push (in) the UPLOCKED P/BSW. - the UPLOCKED '<' goes off.
On the ECAM lower DU:
- the WHEELS page shows the wheels in the UP position and L/G CTL in amber.
NOTE : The amber crosses will stay on screen because the No. 2 LGCIU circuit breaker is open.
On 402VU:
- the UNLK (red) indicator lights show.
On the ECAM upper DU:
- the L/G GEAR NOT DOWN display comes into view and after 30 seconds, L/G GEAR NOT DOWNLOCKED shows.
On the panels 130VU and 131VU:
- the MASTER WARN lights flash

A. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 2GA.

B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Put the aircraft back to the ground configuration (Ref. TASK 32-00-00-860-002).

(2)
Fully retract the flaps (Ref. TASK 27-50-00-866-009).

(3) Cockpit Configuration R
R (a) Do the EIS stop procedure (Ref. TASK 31-60-00-860-002). R (b) On the panel 50VU:
-push (in) the FADEC GND PWR 1 or 2 P/BSW. Make sure that the applicable P/BSW ON light goes off.
(4) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. TASK 24-41-00-862-002).

C. Removal of Equipment
(1)
Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.

(2)
Remove the safety barriers.

(3)
Remove the warning notice(s).

(4) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and

standard tools and all other items.

LANDING GEAR - POSITION INFORMATION - DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION

1. General
_______
Two Landing Gear Control and Interface Units (LGCIUs) supply an interface between the landing gear (L/G) system and other systems which require L/G position information. Each LGCIU controls the position relays.
The L/G control lever supplies position information, this is done independently from the LGCIUs. The switch contacts operated by the control-lever (which are not used to control L/G operations), are used for this function.
