A. Preparation for Installation
(1)
Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(2)
Install the hydraulic unions with new seals.
(3)
Clean the attachment hardware with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-004A) and dry them with filtered compressed air.
(4)
Apply a light coat of SPECIAL MATERIALS (Material No. 05-047) to the threads of all the screws.

B. Installation of the Servo-Control
(1)
Put the servo-control (4) in position with the screws (8).
(2)
TORQUE the screws (8) to between 0.8 and 0.9 m.daN (70.79 and 79.64 lbf.in).
(3)
Safety the screws (8) with lockwire corrosion resistant steel 0.8 mm
(0.03 in).
(4)
Remove the blanking plugs from the hydraulic lines.

(5)
Connect the hydraulic lines (1), (3), (9) and (10).
(6)
TORQUE the hydraulic lines (1), (3), (9) and (10) to between 2.42 and
3.16 m.daN (17.84 and 23.30 lbf.ft).
(7)
Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors.
(8)
Install the sleeve (11) on the electrical connector (2).
(9)
Connect the electrical connector (2).
(10) Heat shrink the sleeve (11).
(11) Apply SEALANTS (Material No. 09-001) on the heads of the screws (8). Subtask 32-51-51-865-052
C. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 1GG, 2GG, 3GG, 4GG

D. Functional Test
(1) Do the functional test of the nose wheel steering (Ref. TASK 32-51-00-720-003) or (Ref. TASK 32-51-00-720-004).
5. Close-up

A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
(1)
Remove the container.
(2)
Remove the safety barriers.
(3)
Remove the warning notice(s).
(4)
Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
