A. Check of the play on the NLG cams
(1)
On the panel 402VU, put the A/SKID & N/W STRG switch in OFF position.
(2)
Disconnect the connector (3) from the RVDT 3GC (1).
(3)
Connect the SENSOR-VOLTAGE TEST (F26792000) or SENSOR - VOLTAGE TEST (F26792000-1) (2) between the connector (3) and the RVDT 3GC (1).
(4)
On the panel 402VU, put the A/SKID & N/W STRG switch in ON position.
(5)
Connect a AC voltmeter (minimum range: 0-20V, accuracy: 1 mV, frequency: 50-2000 Hz) to the SECONDARY VOLTAGE connections on the SENSOR-VOLTAGE TEST (F26792000) or SENSOR - VOLTAGE TEST.
(6)
Check of the play on the NLG cams
(a)
On the SENSOR-VOLTAGE TEST (F26792000) or SENSOR - VOLTAGE TEST set the selector switch to U1.
(b)
Manually move the wheels in steering mode on the RH stop. Record the voltage U1.
(c)
Manually move the wheels in steering mode on the LH stop. Record the voltage U1'.
(d)
From the voltage U1 and U1', calculate the average voltage U1".
(e)
Manually move the wheels in steering mode to get the voltage U1". NOTE : The angular travel of the nose wheels includes the NLG cam
____ play and the NLG torque link play.

B. Set the NWS Zero Position
NOTE : The adjustment process is very sensitive.

the adjustment procedure.

(1)
Stage 1:
(a)
On the SENSOR-VOLTAGE TEST (F26792000) or SENSOR - VOLTAGE TEST
(2) set the selector switch to U1.
(b)
Record the voltage (U1).
(c)
On the SENSOR-VOLTAGE TEST (F26792000) or SENSOR - VOLTAGE TEST
(2) set the selector switch to U2.
(d)
Record the voltage (U2).
(e)
From the voltages U1 and U2, calculate the voltage U:
U = U1 - U2
(2)
If the voltage U is not equal to 0 +/- 20mV, adjust the gear box:
(a)
Remove the RVDT 3GC (1) (Ref. TASK 32-51-19-000-001).
(b)
Install the ASSEMBLY TOOL (M46196) on the gearbox, put the stud
(15) of the rigging tool M46196-2 (14) in the drive slot (13) of the gearbox plate (11).
(c)
Hold the rigging tool M46196-2 (14) in position and loosen the screws (12).
(d)
Lightly move the gearbox plate (11) with the rigging tool M46196-2 (14):.
-clockwise if the value U is less than minus 20mV
-counterclochwise if the value U is more than plus 20mV
(e)
TORQUE the screws (12) to between 0.1 and 0.15 m.daN (8.84 and
13.27 lbf.in).
NOTE : Make sure that the gearbox plate (11) does not move when
____ you TORQUE the screws (12). If the gearbox plate (11) moves, the adjustment will not be correct.
(f)
Remove the rigging tool M46196-2 (14).
(g)
Install the RVDT 3GC (1) (Ref. TASK 32-51-19-400-001). NOTE : Lightly lubricate the packing of the sensor 3GC with
