R (1) Lower the aircraft on its wheels and move the axle jack away
R (2) Depressurize the Yellow hydraulic system (Ref. TASK 29-10-00-864-002)
R (3) De- energize the electrical circuits (Ref. TASK 24-41-00-862-002)
R (4) Move the aircraft to remove the grease plates (Ref. TASK 09-10-00-
R 584-002)
R (5) Remove the tools
R (6) Close the radome (Ref. TASK 53-15-11-410-001)
R (7) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other

A. Removal of the Cover of the Panel 19VU (18VU)
(1)
Release the lock (2) and remove the handle (3) from the transmitter unit (8).
(2)
Remove the screws (5) and the washers (6).
(3)
Remove the screw (10) and the washer (11).
(4)
Release the fasteners (1) and remove the cover (4).

B. Removal of the Transmitter
(1)
Remove the screws (7).
(2)
Release the transmitter unit (8) from its housing and disconnect the electrical connector (9).
(3)
Remove the unit (8).
(4)
Put blanking caps on the disconnected electrical connectors.
