Connect the 1.5 VDC power supply to the solenoid electrical connector as follows:
-
connect the positive (+) electrical cable to the connector pin B
-
connect the negative (-) electrical cable to the connector pin A.

Measure the voltage drop across the resistor, and use the multimeter to measure the resistance of the solenoid.
(5)
Make sure the measured values are between the limits given in Table
001.
