D. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
R (1) Put an access platform in position at the RH MLG zone 744.
(2) Disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the safety-valve solenoid.

(3) Put blanking caps on the disconnected electrical connectors.
(4) Remove the GROUND LOCK SLEEVE from the RH MLG door actuating cylinder.
R R (5) If it is necessary to pressurize the Green hydraulic system from the A/C electric pump, do the procedure (Ref. TASK 29-23-00-863-001).
R R (6) If it is necessary to pressurize the Green hydraulic system from an external source, do the steps that follow:
R R NOTE : You can pressurize the Green hydraulic system from the A/C____ electric pump or from an external source as necessary.

R (a) Disconnect the isolation coupling of the PTU (Ref. TASK 29-23-00-860-001).
WARNING : MAKE SURE THAT THE CONTROLS AGREE WITH THE POSITION OF_______ THE ITEMS THEY OPERATE BEFORE YOU PRESSURIZE A HYDRAULIC SYSTEM.

R R (b) Pressurize the Green hydraulic system (Ref. TASK 29-10-00-863-001).
R R (c) Energize the electrical circuits from the external power (Ref. TASK 24-41-00-861-002).

4. Procedure

A. Operational Check of the Landing-Gear Hydraulic Safety-Valve
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------ACTION RESULT -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1.
Make sure that the travel ranges of the MLG doors are clear.
2.
Try to move the ground door operating-handle to the CLOSE position.
If the MLG door stays open, the safetyvalve is serviceable.
If the MLG door closes, the safety valve is defective.
NOTE : It is possible that the handle
____ will move and the MLG door close because of the remaining pressure. This will only be possible one or two times until the remaining hydraulic pressure is decreased. After this, it must not be possible to close the MLG door.
If it is possible to close the MLG door, the safety valve is defective and must be replaced (Ref. TASK 32-31-17-000-001), (Ref. TASK 32-31-17-400-001).
