 (1) Disconnect the electrical connector (5) from the contactor 3XG connection (4).
 (2) Install the connectors (2) and (3) of the (98D24408392000) GND PWR Contactor Override Box to the connector (5) and contactor 3XG connection (4).
 (3) Put the switch on the GND PWR Contactor Override Box to the OFF position.
 (4) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits from the external power (Ref. TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
 WARNING : MAKE SURE THAT THE CONTROLS AGREE WITH THE POSITION OF THE_______ ITEMS THEY OPERATE BEFORE YOU PRESSURIZE A HYDRAULIC SYSTEM.
 (5) Use the electric pump of the Yellow Hydraulic system to pressurize the Green Hydraulic system (Ref. TASK 29-24-00-863-001).
 4. Procedure_________
 Subtask 32-31-00-720-071 
R  A. Operational Check to Ensure Safety Valve Closes at 260 kts 
R R R R R R R  CAUTION : OBEY THESE PRECAUTIONS WHEN YOU DO THE TEST TO PREVENT DAMAGE_______ TO INSTRUMENTS: - PRESSURE SET MUST NOT BE MORE THAN 1050 hPa (31 in Hg) OR LESS THAN 115 hPa (3.39 in Hg) - CHANGES IN PRESSURE MUST NOT BE MORE THAN 6000 FEET/MINUTE - DO NOT SUDDENLY OPEN LINES TO AMBIENT AIR WHILE THE PRESSURE GENERATOR IS CONNECTED. 
R R R R  CAUTION : THE TOTAL PRESSURE IN THE PITOT SYSTEM MUST NEVER BE LESS THAN_______ THE STATIC PRESSURE. THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE PITOT AND THE STATIC PRESSURE CIRCUITS MUST NEVER BE MORE THAN 368 hPa (10.86 in Hg).

 

 NOTE : For corrective action, do the necessary trouble-shooting
____
 procedures (Ref. TSM 32 PB 101).

1. On the panel 20VU:
 -make sure that the ADIRS is set to the OFF position.
 2.
 Make sure that the travel range of the applicable MLG door is clear.

 3.
 Move the applicable ground door-operating handle to the OPEN position.

 4.
 Install the FALSE TARGET
(98F32304000000) on the
applicable proximity-sensor
 21GA(20GA).


 5.
 Try to move the applicable ground


door-operating handle to the R CLOSE position. R R R R R
R 6. On the panel 20VU:
-set the IR 1 selector switch to ATT.
R 7. Set the GROUND PRESSURE GENERATOR R to give a signal of 268 to 270 R kts.
The applicable MLG door opens.
The safety valve 49GA is de-energized(valve CLOSED).
The handle will not move.
NOTE : There can be unwanted movement
____ of the ground door-operating handle because of remaining green hydraulic pressure. If the handle can be moved more than five times, it is possible that the safety valve 49GA is defective.
The Air Data Inertial Reference Unit 1(ADIRU 1) energizes.

8. Make sure that the travel range
 of the applicable MLG door is
 clear.
 9. Try to move the applicable ground 
door-operating handle to the 
R  CLOSE position. 






R  10. Slowly reduce the signal from 
R  the GROUND SIGNAL GENERATOR to 
R  between 255 and 265 kts.
 11. Make sure that the travel range
 of the applicable MLG door is
 clear.
 12. Move the applicable ground 
door-operating handle to the
 CLOSE position. 
R  13. Move the ground door-operating 
R  handle to the OPEN position. 
R  14. Set the GROUND PRESSURE 
R  GENERATOR to OFF.
 15. On the panel 20VU:
 - set the IR 1 selector switch
 to OFF. 

The handle will not move.
NOTE : There can be unwanted movement
