Measure and record the dimensions T and V.
(2)
Extend the nose landing gear (Ref. TASK 32-30-00-867-002).
(3)
Adjust the dimension T NOTE : For correct operation of the door, there must be a minimum gap
____ between the seal and the fuselage structure (dimension T) but the seal must not be compressed.
(a)
Use the measured value of dimension T to calculate the value of dimension S that gives the minimum value of the final dimension
T:
-in the limits of the tolerance of the dimension S (between 0 mm (0.0000 in.) and 2 mm (0.0787 in.)
-that does not compress the seal in the gap. The tolerance for the final dimension T is:
-
in the straight area, between 0.5 mm (0.0196 in.) and 4.5 mm (0.1771 in.)
-
in the radius area, between 2 mm (0.0787 in.) and 4.5 mm (0.1771 in.).
(b)
Loosen the screws (12).
(c)
Adjust the dimension S to the calculated value.
(d)
Tighten but do not torque the screws (12).
(e)
Loosen the screws (13), (14) and (15).
(f)
Adjust the dimension S between 0 mm (0.0000 in.) and 2 mm (0.0787 in.) to get the minimum value of T in its tolerances.
(g)
Tighten but do not torque the screws (13), (14) and (15).

(4) Adjust the dimension V NOTE : For correct operation of the door, there must be a minimum gap

Make sure that dimension V is in the tolerances:
-between 1 mm (0.0393 in.) and 5.5 mm (0.2165 in.)
(3)
Extend the nose landing gear (Ref. TASK 32-30-00-867-002).
(4)
If necessary adjust again dimensions T and V
(5)
TORQUE the screws (12) to 0.35 m.daN (30.97 lbf.in).
