-use a suitable rod (not metal) to close the MLG leg uplocks
 -do this procedure for each separate retraction sequence that you will do.
 NOTE : During the test the ECAM will show unwanted indications, which you

 NOTE : During this test make sure that the ECAM upper display does not

 show the message L/G LGCIU 1 (2) FAULT.

1. On panel 400VU: - make sure that the landing-gear control-lever 6GA is in the DOWN position. On the panel 402 VU:- the LDG GEAR down and locked lightsare on (green) 
 2. On the ECAM CP:  On the ECAM lower DU: 
 - press the WHEELS pushbutton switch (P/BSW).  - the NLG door symbol shows the closedand locked position (green) - the landing gear systems 1 and 2 symbols show the down and locked position (green). 
 3. On the panel 400VU: - move the landing-gear control-lever 6GA to the UP position. On the panel 402VU:- the NLG LDG GEAR UNLK light comes on(red). 
 On the ECAM lower DU: 
 - the NLG door symbol shows the closed and locked position (green) - the L/G CTL caption comes into view (amber). 
 On the aircraft: 
 - the NLG doors start to open. 
 On the ECAM lower DU: 
 - the NLG door symbol moves to the intermediate position (amber). 
 On the aircraft: 
 - the NLG doors are fully open 
 On the ECAM lower DU: 
 - the NLG door symbol shows the open position (amber). 
 On the aircraft: 
 - the NLG starts to retract. 
 On the panel 402VU:

On the ECAM lower DU:

the NLG landing gear systems 1 and 2 symbols go out view.
 4. On the aircraft:  On the ECAM lower DU:
 -close the MLG uplocks.  - the L/G CTL caption goes out of view.
 On the aircraft:
 -
the NLG doors start to close.
On the ECAM lower DU:
 -
the NLG door symbols move to the intermediate position (amber).
On the aircraft:
 -
the NLG doors are closed and locked up.
On the ECAM lower DU:
 -
the NLG door symbols show the closed and locked position (green).
 5. On the panel 400VU:  On the panel 402VU:
 -move the landing-gear  - the NLG LDG GEAR UNLK lights come on control-lever 6GA to the DOWN (red). position.
 On the ECAM lower DU:
 -the L/G CTL caption comes into view (amber).

the NLG LDG GEAR down and locked light comes on (green).
On the ECAM lower DU:

the NLG landing gear systems 1 and 2 symbols change color (green).
