Make sure that the LOCKING TOOL - FLAP/SLAT CONTROL LEVER (98D27803000000) is on the slat/flap control lever.
(3)
Extend the No. 3 spoiler (Ref. TASK 27-60-00-866-002).
(4)
Make sure that the COLLAR-SAFETY, SPOILER (98D27604000000) is on the applicable spoiler servo-control.

(1)
Defuel the applicable fuel tank (Ref. TASK 28-25-00-650-001).
(2)
Drain the remaining fuel from the applicable fuel tank (Ref. TASK 28-25-00-650-003).

E. Get Access
(1)
Put the access platform below the applicable zone 540(640).
(2)
Remove the applicable wing access panels (Ref. TASK 28-10-00-910-002), (Ref. TASK 57-27-11-000-002):

A. Removal of the Transfer Valve Drive 71QM(73QM)
(1)
Remove the applicable transfer valve actuator (8) (Ref. TASK 28-15-51-000-002).
(2)
Hold the transfer valve drive (12) and remove the applicable transfer valve (1) (Ref. TASK 28-15-41-000-001).
(3)
Remove the nuts (5) and pull away the actuator mounting (3) to remove the bonding strap (6). Remove and discard the O-ring seals (2).

(4)
Remove the nut (4) and the screw (7), and disconnect the bonding strap (6). Remove the actuator mounting (3).
(5)
Remove the bolts (11) and the transfer valve drive (12).
(6)
Remove and discard the O-ring seals (9) and (10).
